EAFC24 Clubs: Everything that is already known about the Pro Clubs mode!

In this article we summarize all the information known so far about the Pro Clubs mode in EAFC24.

Strictly speaking, there is no Pro Clubs mode anymore, because it has been renamed and is now just called "Clubs". EA Sports hasn't given any details yet on why this name change was made, but it stands to reason that it has to do with the upcoming EAFC 24 Pro platform and they wanted to avoid confusion there. (For the sake of simplicity, this article will continue to call the mode Pro Clubs).

Crossplay is coming! 

What already became more and more probable in January through tests is now official. In EAFC 24 it will be possible to play against friends on other platforms in Pro Clubs mode. It should be noted, however, that only PS5, XBOX X/S and PC can play with each other. PS4 and XBOX One, can only play with each other and the Nintendo Switch is completely left out.

You also have the option to turn crossplay on and off in the settings. 

However, all clubs are still displayed in the leaderboards, regardless of whether crossplay is enabled or not.

Whether a lobby is crossplay-enabled depends on the crossplay status of the first player to join the lobby. To change this, all players must leave the lobby. The player in question must change their crossplay status or another player must enter the lobby first.

Not much is known about the league system. However, there is supposed to be a new league system with subsequent playoffs. Whether crossplay will be enabled in friendlies as well, or if EA will use this option to prevent league systems like ProLeague from growing further, is also not yet clear.

In addition, the menu of Pro Clubs will be revised. The following screenshots have already been released: 

We will learn more about the Pro Clubs mode in the corresponding Deep Dive, which will be released as the last Deep Dive in August.

But also the gameplay trailer that was released today revealed some interesting things about Pro Clubs mode.
